Desreumaux Geoff

Creative Strategist | Growth Hacker | Social Media Visionary | Founder/Chief-Editor at WeRSM | Keynote Speaker

When I started working for the digital marketing industry, Facebook was still a student-only social networking website. This is to say I have quite an extensive understanding of social media and the overall digital industry.
At Lexis, I head up the social team working on a broad range of clients including Tefal, Pizza Hut, Harley
Davidson, Ecover and many more. I’m also the founder and current Editor-in-Chief of WeRSM (http:// one of the leading and fastest growing social media marketing website in the world. Everyday WeRSM shares stories, campaigns, resources and expert interviews that help anyone in the industry to stay on top of this fast moving new channels and improve the ROI of their social media efforts. I’m also a regular visiting lecturer at the university of Greenwich in London where I teach second and third year marketing students on how to approach social media as a part of the modern marketing mix. Prior to Lexis, I have worked as Senior Digital Strategist for Cheil Worldwide, Creative Strategist for Impero London and Digital Creative Director for Lowe and Partners. From launching large-scale social media activations, creating global digital strategies and creative campaigns, to community management projects, I understand how social media should always focus on the consumer and finding impactful ways to generate 3-way conversations between the brands and their consumers. I like to keep things simple, because I truly believe that the best marketing message, the best creative execution, the best copy, everything in advertising should focus on one sole objective: make sure our target audience understands what we are saying and why we are saying it. «Think outside of the box, but keep the steak in the pan!»
